Sometimes we get a little personal on the blog, but that’s okay, right? I mean, I’m a newborn photographer, so it’s not weird that I did a Milestone Plan with my puppy… right? I grew up with collies, started out with Trapper when I was quite little, then as a teenager we had Murphy, my Dad loved tri-color collies and imparted his soft spot for them on my heart. My husband wanted to gift me nostalgia from my childhood for my birthday last year and bought me this sweet boy. I had to wait 4 (very) long weeks before we could pick him up and bring him home, but what an exciting time that was for all of us! Our whole house was just giddy with anticipation of meeting him. Selecting just the right name, choosing his collar, his name tag, his bed- all the things- was such a fun process! I was in complete shock when he showed me the pictures of this sweet newborn puppy, but somehow David knew that I needed this little fur ball. Maybe it’s the grown and almost grown kids that need me less than in the past, I’m not sure, but he was right- I needed a Mac. So, today, that little fur ball is 75 pounds and is celebrating his first birthday! In true newborn photographer fashion, we baked pupcakes, decorated the studio, wrapped his gift, and documented the whole thing! What fun we had celebrating you today! (p.s. dogs don’t seem to like confetti, hahaha!) It didn’t seem right to keep all this fun to myself, so I’m sharing Midnight Mac’s Montana Dream’s first birthday session!
AND, a peek at Mac’s Milestone images!and, just in case this ins’t enough cuteness, here’s me with my first collie, Trapper :)
