I always get excited when a senior says they want something different for their session, something that is more “them” than just the normal senior portrait session.  I love a challenge.  Seriously! Challenge me all you want, and we will come up with a fun session.  This session, not only was fun to find a new location (we LOVE Smoothin and Groovin, and now even more that they let us shoot in their lounge area!) but also we ran out of light really quickly because of overcast skies.  So we ended up shooting after dark.  That…. is a challenge unless you want to use off camera lighting gear.  We hunted around for cool spots that were textured but also had available light that we could use to our advantage.  Again… I love a challenge and LOVE how Mary Evelyn’s session turned out.

Mary Evelyn, thank you for trusting me to see your vision and figure out a way to bring it to life, even under crazy hard circumstances.  I had such a fun time with you and your mom! Congrats on your senior year.  Can you believe May is just around the corner?!?
