This session is super special because this is one of our own!! Layne is Kim’s son who is getting married to the beautiful Cameron! I was so honored to take these engagement pictures! They are getting married in Searcy in September, and I can’t wait to be a part of their day and capture all of their giddiness! This session was so much fun! The creek was a lot higher than we anticipated from the flooding that has been happening, but these two were up for anything and starting hopping the rocks! We ended the session by chasing the sun to a field just outside of Heber, and well, the golden rays speak for themselves! I’m in love!

Engagement sessions are so important for so many reasons but I think the most important is that we really get to know each other during this time. I learn all of the sweet little quirks in your relationship, like that when you are giving your real smile your nose crinkles up, you both laugh the most when you’re trying to keep a straight face, and your left side is your favorite side. Those seemingly tiny details become incredibly vital when getting authentic images, especially when we get to your wedding day! By the time that big day finally gets here, the two of you will be so comfortable you’ll forget how awkward you thought you were in front of a camera! And that, my friends, makes for THE BEST images!
