I love so many things about what we do… spending time with couples in love is just a blessing.  I love that so many of our clients become good friends.  And, tonight I LOVE that a good friend is on the blog!  In college, I barely knew Ali but she’s one of those people that you only have to barely know for a big impression to be made.  When I joined the team at Zoë several years ago, the fact that Ali’s business was right below us was such a bonus! (You all remember A Second Helping??!  And if you’re like me, now you’re craving one of Ali’s special dishes).  Seeing her coming and going each day was such a blessing.  I asked myself so many times why some gentleman hadn’t swept her up already.  She’s gracious, kind-hearted, beautiful inside and out, one of the best listeners I’ve ever met and I won’t even touch on her talents in the kitchen.  :)  I even shamelessly made sure she met my brother as I couldn’t imagine a better sister-in-law.  But, she patiently waited for God’s timing.  When I heard she was engaged, I was so excited I left church immediately to call her.  I couldn’t wait to hear about Daniel.  I knew if Ali had let him put a ring on her finger, he must be special.  And, he is.  They are special together.  During their engagement session, there was so much laughter.  Daniel effortlessly makes her laugh and puts her at ease.  They are an answer to one another’s prayers and Kim and I feel so blessed to be able to share in their joy this year! Ali and Daniel, THANK YOU for allowing us to be a part of your story!  We pray that God richly blesses this exciting time in your lives!
