From the first time we met David and Kim, we knew that their wedding day would be extra special. They are the kind of people you love within a few minutes of meeting. We have been SO blessed to spend time with them these last few months and our only regret is we won’t have an excuse to see them regularly. We’ll have to schedule regular coffee dates! :)
You can learn a great deal about a couple when you meet their family and friends. And, Kim and David’s friends and family are as fabulous as they are. I thought David’s sense of humor was unmatched… and then we met his Dad, who took a selfie while dancing during the recessional. I thought Kim’s constantly sweet disposition was like none I’d ever met… then I met her parents and twin sister who are as warm and sweet as she is. The speeches and kind words by their friends and family were the absolute kindest I’ve heard and a beautiful reflection of the kind of people Kim and David are.
And their wedding day was filled with thoughtful and beautiful details. Kim’s dress was covered in gorgeous lace (see her bridal session here) and she carried a beautiful jewel-toned, fall bouquet. She and David married under a wooden arbor covered in fall flowers and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. After dinner, David and Kim danced with guests outdoors under the stars before leaving to a bubble sendoff.
Kim and David, thank you so much for choosing us to document your beautiful day. We have LOVED every minute we’ve spent with you! Please, please, please don’t be strangers!
