Who is your favorite superhero and why? Batman. He is actually from Earth, and out of the heroes from Earth, he seems like the most genuine.
Tell us about the person who has had the single greatest, positive impact on your life. My parents! They have shown me more support and patience than I deserve, at least one of them always attends my billions of events, and they are very easy going.
Where do you see yourself in ten years? I see myself acting in film or on Broadway! I also want to have a makeup business on the side!
What is your favorite article of clothing and why? My hat. It was something I wanted for a very long time. I love it because it gives me attitude. When I wear it, I kinda feel like I’m awesome and I can be who I want.
What is your favorite worldly possession? My favorite worldly possession is my MOXIE necklace. Moxie is basically the way you represent yourself and your personal style. If I didn’t have moxie, I’d be some boring girl that no one knew. It’s my favorite because it reminds me to be exactly who I am. It reminds me not to change because I am around certain people or because I’m having a bad day. That necklace reminds me that every day is a new day. I can be who I want to be.
What character on Broadway are you most like? I feel like I am kind of a mix between Elpheba and Glinda from Wicked. I’m girly, bubbly and happy. But, I am also very calm, collected and caring.
Has reading a book ever changed your life? If so, which one and why? I’ve never read a book that changed my life. But, after watching live performances of Wicked and Les Miserables, I realized what I wanted to do with my life.
What one thing do you wish more people knew about you? I wish people knew that I’m a very happy person. I have one of those faces that looks mad if ever I am not smiling. I am generally in a great mood!
If someone wrote a book about you, what would they title it? I would imagine they would title it something like, “An Indecisive Way of Life.” I’m one of the most indecisive people the world has ever seen.
If you had a free plane ticket to anywhere in the world, where would you go? I would go to Ireland. I’ve wanted to go there since my cousin, Lauren, told me about it!
What was the last movie you watched? I last watched The Maze Runner! I saw it with my friends Dylan, Brooke, Hailey and Rochelle. We all agreed that it was amazing! And the main character is kinda hot…
What is your favorite memory from high school? My favorite high school experience would have to be my entire junior year. The summer before it, I got to work on my first two movie sets as a makeup artist and hair assistant. In early August that year, I got my first major role in a musical. And a few months later, I got another big role in another play. In November, a one-act play that Morgan Meeds and I wrote won the Young Arkansas Playwrights Competition, and I made All-State cast for our one-act preliminary at Thespian Festival. Towards the end of the year, I was elected Drama Club President for the following year and to be a State Student Officer to represent Arkansas Thespian Society.
Meet Sarah.
Sarah, you said above that when you wear your hat, you “kinda feel awesome.” We think you ARE awesome! You are beautiful, inside and out, and we were so struck by your poise and grace. Cheryl had such fun photographing you… I thought the only way she was going to quit was if I forcibly removed her camera from her hands. :) We’re so grateful we were able to photograph your senior session! Thank you for choosing us!
