We were praying hard for good weather for Kim and David’s session, but as I’ve learned so many times, you don’t always get what you pray for. Kim and I were keeping each other updated throughout the day on the hourly forecast and whether or not we should reschedule since she was driving from Conway, but they were determined! As they pulled up to the studio, the sky fell out, and it rained…..and rained hard! I expected them to have sad faces as they came in the doors, but they were both so giddy, smiling, and excited to shoot in and out of the rain. Kim casually commented on how well it suited the session since it was coming a monsoon when David proposed to her. And so we played! We had fun on our rainy day session. David makes Kim laugh so effortlessly and they have such an effortless personality as a couple, that they seemed to float on air when they are together. We did have to end early because it got dark so quickly, but we will be finishing up their session tonight in a sunny field! Stay tuned for part 2 of their engagement session to hit the blog! In the meantime, here are some of my favorite images from part 1. Be sure and give them some blog love and lots of congrats on their engagement.
