Tell us about the person who has had the single, greatest positive impact on your life. The person who has had the most impact on me in my life is Jesus. I think some people forget that he was a person, some one with influence like no other, but he was a person and he has changed my life completely. He’s filled many roles for me. A father, a big brother, a best friend and a hero. He has changed me and molded me through circumstances and through other people. I don’t answer this question with Jesus because it’s “the right answer” but because He is THE answer.
If you had a free plane ticket to anywhere in the world, where would you go? This one is a hard one because I want to travel pretty much everywhere, but for right know I’m going to go with Australia. It looks like a paradise over there, with snorkeling and skydiving and kangaroos and beautiful accents. It would be beautiful over there and hopefully I get that one free ticket, mate, so I can go check it out.
What is your favorite memory from high school? Memories are funny things when you come from a place like Harding Academy, because the truth is, the favorite memories are endless. There are many that come to mind, put there are two that stick out to me. The first one is being a Wildcat on Fridaynight. Cheering on the football boys at HA is easily one of my favorite memories of all time. The second is a little different, but equally as memorable. One of my favorite memories is going on chorus tour and singing to people all over the country, and sharing Jesus with them through our singing. We may impact them, but even more so, they impact us. I love me some Harding Academy!
Where do you see yourself in ten years? In ten years, I see myself graduated from college with a specialized degree in Neonatal Nursing, working at the local hospital. Hopefully in ten years I’ll be married with a kid or two, possibly doing foster care… and hopefully I’ll have a pretty little country house with a wrap around porch. :)
Who is your favorite superhero and why? Definitely Batman. As dumb as it may sound, I love him because the Batman movies are my absolute favorite! And, his cars are pretty sweet. ;)
Meet Shelby.
Shelby and Michelle, Cheryl was ecstatic when you called to schedule Shelby’s senior portrait session. She’s enjoyed photographing your family in the past and was honored to photograph Shelby. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to spend time with you both and we pray God blesses Shelby’s senior year!
