This afternoon we’re excited to share an engagement session with you! We first met with Claire and Brett a little over a month ago and are so blessed that they chose Kim to photograph their wedding. They are the kind of people that you are friends with immediately; they’re fun, laid back and clearly crazy about each other. Claire has fabulous style! She did an amazing job of selecting outfits and had great ideas on locations too!
We started Claire and Brett’s session on land that has been in Brett’s family for many years. A couple of days prior, they’d been walking on the trails out there and noticed this old trailer said “May” on it. Because they are getting married in May, we had to take advantage of it. :) Next, we headed to The Green Corner Store, a place Claire and Brett love to go to for ice cream. For those of you who are not already familiar with this fabulous place, it’s not just a store but also an old-fashioned soda fountain that serves Loblolly Creamery ice cream. They make everything from scratch… everything! We tried both the salted caramel ice cream and the made-from-scratch sodas. Both were amazing! I took my family back the next week. :) The folks at The Green Corner Store were so accommodating and and we’re so grateful they allowed us to photograph Brett and Claire sharing a milkshake. We were headed to Twin Rivers Park to finish their session when the bottom fell out of the sky. So, we finished up their session at sunset a week later and were blessed with beautiful weather that night.
Claire and Brett, we had such a great time with you guys! Thank you so much for choosing Kim to photograph your engagement and wedding images. We’re so anxious for your big day!
