I generally do newborn sessions within the first ten days of birth because the sweet babies are a lot more sleepy and mold-able for their pictures.  But this little guy was already three weeks when we did his session and he was absolutely PERFECT for me!  He slept like an angel, had no startle reflex,  let me move him all over the studio without a word and when he opened his eyes, he looked right into the camera!  That may not seem like a big deal to most, but for a photographer, it is very difficult to get a great shot of a newborn with his eyes opened, NOT crossed, not squinting and looking right into the lens.  Seriously, he was a DREAM baby!  And his sweet big sis?  Well, when you’ve got it, you’ve got it!  She was a darling, full of personality, silliness and joy.  Such a winning combination for beautiful images!  Thank you all for choosing me for your newborn session.  It really was a pleasure photographing your beautiful children!

I posted this shot for two reasons.  1.)  Yawning babies are super cute.  2.)  I think it is funny to induce yawing in my viewers.  ;-)
