Graduating 2011 | Searcy, AR Senior Portrait Photographer

I love it when a client has a special place in mind for their photography session and it ends up looking like this one!   As we headed out to the family property on the outskirts of town, I followed them around the curves and through the farmland with the radio blaring, enjoying the beautiful scenery!  When we pulled in the driveway I couldn’t get over how much the the landscape and old farm house reminded me of my grandparents’ place in South Arkansas where I spent time every summer.   So, not only was I a bit nostalgic, I was also in awe of the beauty of the sinking sun over the farmland!  What a perfect place to end a great session of a beautiful girl!  We started the session at the studio, and although I usually try to keep my blog post images in chronological order, I couldn’t help but change the order a bit, so I could share my favorite first!    I love this image so much and couldn’t decide if I like it better in color or black and white, so here are both!

Nice colors and I agree with Michele, great catchlight. I also like the sharpness on the one third from the bottom. What lens were you using?ReplyCancel

I’d like to steal her eyeballs. Think she’d be okay with that? Oh, and the light in the one on the top right is gorge.ReplyCancel
