Somewhere in the box of treasures that I have in my attic, there is a tiny, plaid, rectangular pillow with a denim heart stitched on the front. That pillow has managed to survive my move to college, back home from college, John and I’s first, second and third houses, a move to Texas, back to Arkansas and it now resides at our current dwelling. Why am I telling you this? Well, that sweet little pillow would not exist were it not for the beautiful woman in the following images. You see, this lady used to be Miss. Carver and she was my eighth grade home economics teacher and I made that little pillow in her class. : ) She was one of the sweetest teachers I had in all of my years in school and we always had so much fun in her classes. I remember thinking she had the coolest car (Black Honda CRX that had a little tinted window on the back of the trunk/hatch) of any teacher at school. No wonder I chose a career in the arts. I can remember the details of my eighth grade teacher’s super cool car but I couldn’t begin to figure an algebraic equation if my life depended on it!
